H-E-B School of Business and Adminstration

Mission Statement

Our mission is to deliver excellent education and provide the opportunity for a diverse student body to learn from a committed and engaged faculty who strive to develop an entrepreneurial spirit that is guided by a strong sense of ethics, social justice and an enlightened global view. Our graduates are prepared to contribute to the advancement of business practice as moral and professional collaborators, faithful to the ideals of mutual understanding and the common good in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.

Vision Statement

The H-E-B School of Business and Administration will be the premier faith-based business school in the Southwest, graduating enlightened and empowered critical thinkers who will become the diverse and moral leaders of our global community.

The school draws upon the rich history of the Institution that is the University of the Incarnate Word. This relationship guides School direction and provides the value foundation on which the H-E-B School of Business and Administration has evolved. The defining School values are drawn from the institution but manifest themselves in all aspects of the School, students, faculty and administration. The School values include the following:
