Undergraduate classes offered during the fall, spring and summer (main campus) will
have the waitlist option during registration periods. Waitlisting does not register
students for a class but places students in a queue in case a spot in the class becomes
available. When a seat becomes available, the first student in the queue receives
an email to his/her UIW email account informing him/her of the opening.
Fall 2017 Waitlist will end Monday, September 4th
Students cannot waitlist a class if they have holds or if they do not have the course
Waitlist is available on a first-come/first-served basis.
Waitlist is not available for all courses and there are limits to the number of students
allowed in the waitlist queue.
Students cannot waitlist multple sections of the same course.
Adding your name to a waitlist does not register you for the class; you must register
through Bannerweb after receiving the email that an opening is available.
Students have 24 hours to register for the opening in the class or they lose their
place in the queue.
